Anyone who wants to attend this mini bootcamp can join online live webinars where the same course content will be taught. Online sessions will be distributed through zoom conferences. Students will have access to the screen of the instructor, external camera showing class atmosphere, whiteboard, and be able to ask questions through chat. You may attend this mini bootcamp no matter where you are.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div>

    SQL for Data Science Mini Bootcamp has a $300 tuition fee.
    \nFor the \u201cEarly Bird\u201d applicants (January 15<\/span> \u2013 February 8), the tuition fee is $250.<\/span><\/p>\n

    [vc_column_text]Over the past five years, Dane has been working as a science educator in Palo Alto. Where he teaches science, builds hands-on science programs, and mentors students. His passion is science! Prior to being a science educator Dane worked in the field of paleontology for 10 years. He worked on several paleontology projects focused on data collections and curatorial work with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. In 2010, he was part of a major paleontological discovery in the state of Colorado\u2019s history. Working with a team from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, we unearthed a treasure trove of fossils 30,000+ vertebrate fossils from mammoths, mastodons, camels, deer, bison, bear, and many other animals. The discovery of this ice age ecosystem drew news coverage from the New York Times, NOVA, and National Geographic. The fossil conifer cones from this discovery led to his graduate research at the University of Wyoming, Laramie.<\/p>\n

    In graduate school he started finding the power of scientific programming using SAS and R. Two years ago, he was inspired to pursue data science by a keynote address by Dr. Debbie Berebichez. Since then Dane has become proficient in Python, R, and SQL.
