SQL, Python, Statistics Phase:

There are fundamental skills that you need to acquire to be a good data scientist. This includes being able to retrieve, analyse, interpret, present and organize data. In this phase, the bootcamp content is designed to make sure that you master these fundamental skills: SQL, the standard language to communicate with database, Python, the most widely used programming language (one third of new software development uses this language), and Statistics.

This bootcamp provides theoretical knowledge and homeworks, hands-on office hours where you can master the curriculum. The bootcamp schedule lets you acquire theory, and practice what you’ve learned with office hours.

Fundamentals of Machine Learning Phase:

In the second phase of the bootcamp, you will learn data preprocessing such as handling missing values, standardization, normalization, and feature scaling. You will learn the popular machine learning concepts such as clustering, classification, regression, ensembling, and dimensionality reduction. You will get your hands on  training data, to discover potentially predictive pattern. You will learn how to train algorithms with training data, and to predict the outcome for future datasets. You will also learn about cross-validation, a technique to prevent overtraining.

In this phase you’ll utilize modern data science techniques with industry experts. This phase will help you get started in data science career and become ready to machine learning applications.

Natural Language Processing Phase – Cloud (Spark, AWS, Azure):

NLP  is one of the most challenging and revolutionary areas of AI. This phase will start teaching you the basics of NLP, and move to the main concepts. You will learn the latest frameworks including NLTK, TextBlob, Gensim, SpaCy, Keras, and Tensorflow. With that, you’ll get comfortable with text representation/processing/understanding, choosing efficient ML algorithms for NLP, embedding spaces and word vectors. In addition to machine learning, you will get a chance to practice a bit of Deep Learning in the context of NLP. 

Landing a Job Phase (Projects, resume building, mock interviews) :

You are being acquired many theoretical knowledge and had a chance to apply those with many homework and practices. Now, it’s time to challenge yourself with real projects and see how data science is being applied in the industry. In this phase, you are working on real-time projects where you will master the whole bootcamp content. You will be placed in the work groups and have a mentor. Your mentor will track your progress, advice for your weaknesses and guide you to land your dream job. You will also build a portfolio which is necessary for your job placement. With the help of resume building and mock interviews, you will become an open target for the headhunters. 

The next batch for 1-on-1 Data Analysis Project – Mentorship Bootcamp will start on May 24th. The deadline for applications ends on May 14th. We have the following schedule:

Monday 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Lecture

Wednesday 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Lecture

Saturday 9 am – 12 pm Lecture

The course is held for 15 weeks and finishes with a graduation ceremony.

All participants who attended more than 80%, finished each phase of the bootcamp will be granted a bootcamp graduation certificate and become a Magnimind alumni.

Tuition fee

Magnimind Full-Stack Data Science Bootcamp’s tuition fee is $2500.

Payment process

If you would like to enroll in this program, you have several payment options:

– A 20% discount if tuition is paid in full upfront ($2,000 instead of the full $2,500, saving you $500).

– A further 20% off for early registration (before April 26th).

– Payments can be made in four (4) installments of $625. The first installment is due at registration, and the remainder monthly thereafter.

Cancellation

If you’re not satisfied with the bootcamp you may cancel your application or attendance of the bootcamp anytime up until …, during our trial period. With this policy, Magnimind provides you the chance to observe and experience the atmosphere and the bootcamp content. If you decide to cancel during this trial period, your tuition payment will be returned to you minus the cost of the number of lectures that you attended. After the lecture on …, our trial period ends and starting on …, your application fee is locked in. When the application fee is locked in then depending which applies to your circumstance either your lump sum payment will be non-refundable or the full course amount of the tuition fee will be processed during your installment payment schedule, this is regardless of your further attendance.

Course Graduation

After 15 weeks of training, participants who attended more than 80% of the bootcamp and graduate successfully, will be able to take the course completion certificate and become a Magnimind Academy alumni. All Magnimind Academy alumni are granted membership to the Magnimind Academy network.

Alumni will have the opportunity to attend meetings with recruiter companies that are also Magnimind collaborators. Magnimind also helps you to start a data science career which will provide you  high paying job opportunities in the bay area. Your bootcamp completion certificate comes with Magnimind’s reputation which will be an important sign of your eligibility and will make you competitive in the job market.

3- My programing or statistics skills are very little, what do I need to prepare for this class?

Don’t worry! Many of the Magnimind students have started in a similar place. Magnimind provides introductory-level curriculum to teach you everything you need to know about the basics of Python, SQL and Statistics. All you need to do is to get started with one of the prep options, which you can review on our admissions process page. More than any particular skill-set, the key to leveling up is perseverance and a drive to grapple with new challenges.
